#HappyHandmade Week Sixty-Seven Favorites

If you haven't heard of #happyhandmade you really must check it out! It is a linkup hosted weekly on Daft Crafts for indie artists and every week, these talented craftsmen come out of the woodwork (studios and work spaces) to strut their stuff and share their marvelous creations with their peers.

I thought this would be a good opportunity to share some of my favorites from this past week.

Squid Necklace by Evangelina's Closet
Um. Squid. Need I say more? Wait, yes, BLUE SQUID WITH BLUE AND PINK CHEVRON BOW! There is something about this necklace that makes my eyes hum with happiness. Little baby Kraken, needs to come live with me, right meow!
Dastardly Dugong Hoop Art by Squshies
Okay, first off, thank you Squshies for showing the Dugong some much needed love and attention! You mention a manatee to someone, and they instantly get it. You mention a Dugong, and they will be scratching their head and looking at you like you're speaking in tongues. No joke.
They, like manatees, are in the order of Sirenia (how epic does that sound?!), and if I had to guess, I'd bet money that this mischievous sea cow is attempting to overthrow the whole order for world domination.
Yeah, it's something like that...

Lost at Sea Sticker Pack by Scrawny Girl
Okay, guys, I am such a fangirl when it comes to Scrawny Girl's artwork. Shawna is so talented, and all of her items are full of whimsy and innocence, but still edgy and even sassy at times. I already have a sticker pack from her (and I promise one day I will write a review and show off my now decked out ukulele). But man... as soon as I saw this pack, I made sure to bookmark it and put it on my wishlish. I mean, HELLO! Don't you see that she obviously made a sticker version of me? ;)

And that's all for now, kiddies! Be sure to check out Daft Crafts every Wednesday for new linkups and awesome handmade goodies!
